Traditional concrete bricks

Nowhere else will you find concrete bricks with the typical, natural shades like those of Vogelensangh’s bricks. Concrete brick is only fired in a traditional manner in this brick factory, in a large coal-powered ring kiln.

Concrete brick has been produced in the brick factory since 1919. We have been manufacturing concrete bricks by machine since 1924, but we still make handmade concrete brick too.

Expertise

Our stokers maintain the correct temperature in the ring kiln day and night by adding new coals to the fire. The result: the most beautiful concrete brick in the Netherlands.

Quality of our concrete bricks

At Vogelensangh it’s all about quality. Quality when it comes to service and customer contact, but also the quality of our concrete bricks, of course. Vogelensangh has a wide range of concrete bricks. Different colours, shades and finishes.

If you want to see the concrete bricks in person, come and visit our factory. Our quality is also expressed in particular quality labels. For example, all CE-marked bricks are produced under the KIWA KOMO label.

Traditional production process

If you are looking for traditional, you would really enjoy a visit to Steenfabriek Vogelensangh. In our brick factory, bricks are still produced using traditional methods. We have a beautiful ring kiln that is almost 100 years old, in which the bricks are heated for 10 days by the flames.

Coals are thrown through the stoke holes day and night to maintain the correct temperature. The result is a beautiful, durable brick – traditionally produced. View the production process for traditionally made bricks online.
