Traditional production process
If you are looking for traditional, you would really enjoy a visit to Steenfabriek Vogelensangh. In our brick factory, bricks are still produced using traditional methods. We have a beautiful ring kiln that is almost 100 years old, in which the bricks are heated for 10 days by the flames. Coals are thrown through the stoke holes day and night to maintain the correct temperature. The result is a beautiful, durable brick – traditionally produced. Aware
The fact that our way of working is traditional certainly doesn’t means that it has been overtaken. We have been CO2 neutral manufacturers for many years now and are also holders of the Kiwa certificate, a quality mark that stands for international quality, reliability and sustainability. Traditional and aware go together hand in hand and guarantee the quality of our bricks.
