At Vogelensangh, a classic stone factory in the Netherlands, various different kinds of clay bricks are baked, in a traditional oven. You can tell: it results in the most characteristic and exclusive bricks.
Clay bricks are being used for a wide variety of buildings: whether it’s a house, a business, a hospital or a school, most of them are made out of this lasting and strong material.
Different types of bricks
The color, completion and shape of the clay bricks is determined up front and strongly depends on the building project. We have bricks in various shades of yellow, brown, grey and red. Our stones are produced without using additives or colorant.
Every brick is unique, but one thing goes for all of them: quality. At brick factory Vogelensangh we care deeply for authenticity and craftmanship.
The production of clay bricks
Unsurprising, a clay brick is made out of dried clay. After drying the clay is heated up to 1000 degrees centigrade. In our stone factory the bricks are baking for ten consecutive days. During this process coals are being added to the fire to maintain the right temperature.
The clay bricks coming out of the traditional oven, are sustainable and colourfast, with a superb appearance.
