The production process for our bricks

We are the only brick manufacturer in the Netherlands to have a coal-powered ring kiln. The clay bricks enter the oven through one of the 20 doors, where the fire burns evenly all that time. The correct temperature is essential for the bricks. Our coal stokers therefore monitor this day and night and tend to the fire by throwing coals through the stoke holes. After 10 days, the bricks are well fired and removed from the kiln. Once the bricks have cooled down, they are checked and sorted by hand.
